Stranger Trucking Company --->>>
Stranger Trucking Co, starts into business on 14 July 2003. The first Tractor used in this venture is an ex-Werner Highway tractor. It is a 1999 Model Freightliner Classic XL Extended Hood with 70 inch Raised Roof Sleeper. It sits on a 260 inch wheelbase, is powered by a Detroit 60 Series 12.7 Liter 500 Horseower Diesel Engine, an Eaton Fuller Super 10 10 speed transmission, and is outfitted with 3:70 ratio rear end gears. It has the Premier Interior inside the cab, and dual 120 gallon fuel tanks. At the time it is purchased from Texarkana Truck Center (Freightliner) in Texarkana Tx, it has 405,050 registered on the odometer.
It will be Leased on to Excaliber Transportation Group in Texarkana Tx USA. Maintance and Services will be taken care of by Patriot Truck and Trailer of Texarkana Ar. Stranger and his "Million Mile Award " truck when he was with TSD ------->>>>
Stranger drove over One Million Miles Accident Free in 7 yrs, 6 months, and 2 days while in the employ of Tri State Deliver. This was his award for that accomplishment, a nice used 2000 model Kenworth W900L with Studio package. He was supposed to have gotten to special order a brand new truck from a truck maker, but the company got into a bad financial bind and he couldnt do as he was promised.

Stranger and a Grain Truck he once operated
This was a 1998 Freightliner Classic with a 500 Detroit Engine, pulling a 42 ft Tempte Super Hopper Grain Wagon. 3 weeks in January working this job, and that was enough of the long hours and LOW LOW pay.

Stranger driving for Vernon Sawyer Inc
Stranger used to work for a company called Tri-State Delivery out of Texarkana Tx. He had worked for this company for just almost 9 years when he realized that the company he had grown to love had fallen into the hands of some management that didnt know what they were doing. He traveled over 1.2 million miles for them safely, never turning down a load, and never having a single customer complaint. Stranger had to quit when the pay kept getting messed up and the management decided to put thier thumb down on him and abuse power by reviewing his personal e-mail on the peoplenet system in his truck. It was time to go. He then went to Duane Livingston and operated a grain truck for 3 weeks. Then in Feb 2003, hired on at VSI in Bastrop, La and stayed there until July of 2003 when he quit, bought his own truck, and leased it on to Excalibur Transportation Group in Texarkana Texas. |
